There is nothing like the excitement of sitting in a dark theatre waiting for a movie to start. The possibilities are endless.

It’s even better when it’s your movie! The butterflies and the anticipation.

Best of all are the discussions after. I have so enjoyed talking to audience members and fellow filmmakers during these film festivals. We are so blessed to be surrounded by so many creative minds. If I had a billion dollars I would fund all of their work. Creative people, sacrificing to put their work out there, taking that chance to be vulnerable and exposed to the world.

Thank you to all the film festivals that still provide an opportunity to screen in person, sit with and hear from other filmmakers, watch their work and learn. It is truly a blessing that events like these still exist and I am thankful for every opportunity.
